Special guests were performers from Paradigm Players, Performing Arts for Youth and Kave Express. Over 95 people attended the event which included French pastries, coffees, make and take artwork, a French flea market, door prizes, art demos and photography services for member artwork to be displayed on the Monthaven Art Society Website at www.monthavenartsociety.org. Join me and 300 hundred other mountain bikers as we ascend one of the most grueling climbs in the SF Bay area. A sumptuous feast of whole roasted pig (Lechon Filipino Style) and Bob’s famous roasted turkey greeted exhausted climbers as they peaked the summit. Alongside the roasted meat one could select from antipasti, lumpia, salads, french pastries, apple pie and whole host of other treats. All this feasting called for some good spirits to quench the thirst of these hungry riders…ales, IPA’s,lagers, cabernets and chardonnays were all readily available to allow many toasts among friends. A big salamat (Thank You) to all those who contributed to the feast! Enjoy.
